Trying to make the best of appalling weather recently (well for a long time actually!) over the Christmas period.

Very moody, Paul, and a lovely stream of light coming through onto the lake.

Sometimes appalling weather throws up a brief interlude in which the light miraculously changes, just as here with that light beaming down from behind the clouds on to the surface of Derwentwater.
But you have to ready and waiting to catch the moment just as you have done here so expertly, Paul.
An image I could sit back an enjoy over and over again.
And a happy New Year to you with hopefully lots more top shots like this.
Ronnie.

Not what you were hoping for weather wise but an opportunity taken advantage of
with this moody image.
A great composition.

I think Paul, Ronnie is spot on with his comment, and the light filtering through really makes this shot, one that anyone would be proud of getting, love it regards Leon.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin
