it was suggested when i posted the colour version that this one might make a moody mono, so i thought i'd give it a try.

Much stronger (and moodier) in b&w. Because of your low pov those dark posts on the right loom up above the horizon - that's powerful.

A good piece of work - been flicking backwards and forwards between the colour and this one - the colour one has it by a whisker - how much the mood of shot changes when converting to B&W - Congratulations on a very well deserved GEA
Wonderfully atmospheric scene captured Lesley, the low cloud ceiling and the crop work so well together.
