I got a cheap telescope from Toys-R-Us, 1000mm focal length with 114mm opening. Used a 2x barlow with T adapter on my Canon Rebel XSI. Just figured out tonight that when shooting with the image on the view screen, I can digitally zoom in 5x and 10x, which helps tremendously on focusing. I was shooting 10-15 pics and adjusting the focus constantly by tiny movements then picking out the sharper looking images on the computer later. This 'new' feature I found saved me a lot of time. And my wife asks why I have to take so many pictures... I told her every time I shoot I learn a little more and luckily practicing on a non-full moon payed off to get a good shot of the full moon.
