This image was shot at about 1am on a wonderful peninsula near Lindos on the Greek island of Rhodes. I'd spotted the disused windmill earlier in the week and a recce out to the site had given me the enthusiasm to return when the moon was full.
This was shot with a D300s, ISO 400 with a Nikon DX 17-55mm F2.8 lens at 17mm and F4. The exposure was for 30 seconds and no flash was used at all. This is what can be achieved by using the light of the moon.
The light in the sky on the left horizon is from the neighbouring town of Kalithos. Other than that, there was no light pollution!!!
Thanks for looking and getting past the thumbnail!!
