Steam engine of East Lancashire railway coming in to Bury station.
Colour version uploaded too - which works best?
B&W for me Wicked shot x
Colour for me Stevie, good timing and details too
Great take , got to be B/W for these old timers ( thats me as well as the train)
Both excellent Steve but if I had to choose then the B&W just wins by a whisker
The composition is very strong so I think both versions work equally well.
Mono for me
Mono for me. Stunning shot!
Superb Stevie, both have their merits but the mono edges it for me.
V1 for me.
Stunning image well composed, great use of the points and the curve of the track nicely captured under the bridge.
Mono for me too!
Strong composition, mono every time as it really captures the mood!
nice capture , I like it
I just can't make my mind up, I go most of time for mono but this time I like both. great work.
Both Brilliant - B&W exceptional!!
Fabulous love how you captured the smoke and the processing is superb
Very dramatic .... definitely BW though
Great capture full of energy and dynamics. Good timing shooting as the train passes under a bridge to concentrate the steam/smoke.
Black and white for me
Absolutely cracking composition and capture with the smoke mushrooming out under the bridge. V1 (mono) for me.
What a capture stunning great b/w just right very hard to chose colour but got to go for b/w
Both stunning, reminds me very much of my youth
Cant decide! Both look good!
Stunning mono - mono for me.
I can't decide between the two, but I love that smoke at the top of the frame.
A stunning mono!!
Wow both stunning images.
Utterly outstanding. I think the mono reflects the antiquity of the train, but both versions are spectacular!
B+W for me, excellent shot
