I spent quite a while looking for compositions to use the signage, then waiting for people to wander through the compositions.
These have been sitting on my hard drive for a while, time to put them out of their misery...
Thanks for looking,
Moira

They really should have a category called "Street Photography" which this definitely is!

Totally appropriate!
There are numerous categories this site should have . . .

Briefly there was a Street Photography official category, along with a few other minority genres (Wedding / Social and Still Life for example), before they disappeared in one of the site's occasional make-overs. Now you have to add your own tags.
Thanks early birds.

Both very well composed shots Moira.
V2 works slightly better for me - lovely splash of colour and some great lines of perspective SmileSmile

What a grey and sad place, I have neve seen it Br then I probably didn't miss anything.
The stress is well captured.

Thanks again. In V1 I liked the fact of two men both on their mobile phones, walking away from each other - but I wish I had taken it a split second later, to get the retreating figure's foot in full!
Got to go out, back later...

Fine set Moira especially version 1.

It's the small details that make a big differents and yes a fraction sooner would have been better having said that it still is what it is a good Street Photography capture, seeing the shot is one thing waiting and hoping for something to happen is another. did well Moira works a treat. Now can I have MORE....

I like the povs and compositions and the excellent perspective without any flaw of lines. Two great shots of the city with people!

I left a comment on a members image Moira, that I hate making decisions.
As far as my tags go,they all go under the tag of General and Close ups/Macro.
Perhaps they should have a tag of ''Undecided'' ?
But I can't make my mind up either about that !!
Good shots.
Mick.

Two great candids, Moira, think V1 had to be my fave, with the two figures attracting the eye towards them Wink

I like them both Moira, always an interesting place to stop and take photographs! I like the splashes of red in V2 but I particularly like the men walking in opposite directions in V1, also like the inclusion of Tower Bridge Smile

V2 is definitely my pick....the spots of red color, the disappearing lines, and the added interest of the crowds all make for a most interesting urban shot.

Shame there wasn't a building called Greed as well Moira, love the bustle and the glimpse of the Tower Bridge showing beyond the glass & steel.
