Beautifully composed shot across to the Cuillins, the early morning misty conditions merging with the cloud cover above and allowing a glimpse of the mountains as if through a dine gauze.
Very atmospheric.
Ronnie.

One of those images where you feel as if you could just step through the frame and be there. Brilliant Jeanie.

A fabulous image Jeanie - one of your very best, in my opinion. You've captured the atmosphere of the place so well that I almost feel I'm standing there and that, surely, is what landscape photography is all aboutSmile

As old as time and always a wonderful sight. You can never tire of good images from The Cuillin of Skye.

excellent composition and congrats on the editor's choice, well deserved.

Excellent!

How did you get such a long exposure during the day? was it quite dark/late or did you put a filter to darken it and thus force a longer exposure?

Thank you Annette and Chris.

Alex - I did answer in both your forum thread and your private message though no response. For the record here - I used 1.2 ND filter and Graduated ND filters. Smile
