It works well in B&W, great image of mist, bushes and trees!

This is more like cloud I would say. We staid in Trefriw last year and some mornings the cloud hung
around the mountains just like this. One can only hope that they lift by mid morning and not turn
into rain. A great shot for the amount of light you had….

You have captured the atmosphere here so well and in such a pleasing composition: love the low clouds drifting up through the trees.

Really benefits from being viewed with the full black background, for mood and mist. I can feel the clouds rolling inexorably down the hillside . . .
All mountainous regions suffer similarly - and offer similar great images.

I bet it wouldn't look nearly as good as this in full sun with blue sky!! The mono emphasises the moody atmosphere, and the strong fir shapes are well placed against the lighter cloud.

My kind oof Welsh morning...

I have a theory that the Welsh have a pact with the ancient hill gods, to the effect that it will always rain when there's a bl!$dy Englishman in the Province. Since the English are prone to being in Wales (holidays, the odd invasion, nicking the slate), there's a lot of rain in Wales...

An extremely moody and atmospheric image, full of dark suspense, great tone and a rather nice composition. One which I certainly admire.
