HDR - a step to far???
Taken at Bleanavon Iron Works - houses with original furnishings, open to the public.
I was aiming for a nostalgic feel (nostalgia for simpler, but not more enjoyable times, I suspect!)

Hmmmm...Tracey Eminesque..
It doesn't really suggest too much about the context, though more emphasis on the eiderdown and period furniture might help with the age aspect. HDR isn't too evident, so plus marks for that.
In a random way, I quite like it, but maybe because I can associate bedding and furniture like this with my childhood.

The light and shadows show up the textures in the bedding rather beautifully. But I agree with Chris about the view through the window, I suspect that a fair bit of work has been done to retrieve detail - whereas the eye expects to be dazzled by the light coming into the room.
Moira
Its the clock that bothered me. The face appears way too blue. So I used ACR to establish a colour temp, - warmer, then played with trying to un HDR it, - not sure it the mod works either, but its different.
Was this a multi shot HDR Sue, or an HDR effect using one image?
Regards
Willie
