Haven't uploaded any photos for ages and since we're in the middle of relocating we've got so many belongings stashed away at family's homes and I haven't really seen my archive of images for a while, but this is a recent one from a few weeks ago when we had a brief weekend of sun!

I spent a while last night looking at some old pics from 2005 when Spirit was virtually black all over! She's looking a bit old now, almost 14 years old, but still very active. Can't do the long walks anymore and we have to lift her in and out of the boot of the car, but she soldiers on and gives us back plenty of love.

Feeling very "reflective" on life at the moment. Lots going on etc. Just grateful to have my wife and my dog beside me...

Thanks for looking,
Chris

She certainly is, Ken. Thanks for the vote! She rides motorbikes and she can do the washing up! Definitely a character!

I've got a photo of her sat on my bike, and when we feed her she licks her fork clean while holding it down with one paw. Once one side is clean, she'll roll it over and lick the other side clean! How skillful is that?

Old faithful dogs like these make for wonderful pets. I share your moving pain we are living out of boxes too at the moment why we relocate too - 6 car loads in the motherinlaws loft as well..

Thanks Stuart. Yeah, life can get pretty hectic. The remainder of our house belongings will be moved this weekend to a new rented property while we try to rent out our house! It's been for sale since the start of the year with little interest, so at the moment we've got a mortgage and rent to pay! I've spent quite a bit of time staying with my parents as it's closer to where I work, but finally my wife and I will have a place of our own again, albeit rented. It'll all work out in the end, I hope!
