This may suffer from 'uninteresting thumbnail' disease, but I loved this particular Morris Dancer at Upton Upon Severn's Folk festival , held over the Mayday Bank Holiday.

I'm not a particular fan of the music, but I loved all the costumes and dancing, and the real traditons of Old England being kept very much alive ( lots of beer swilling and thumping eachother over the heads with big sticks!)

Thankyou ! Grin

I'm not usually one for taking portraits and people, but I love anyone who has the character and courage to dress up for somthing they enjoy. There were so many characters there, you could feel that everyone had a story to tell

great picture and he'd mak the persona proud to the traditional white? dancers. about scotland they say a marching pipe band is offputting but i gotta mention in surrey one time whilst I was drinking away, some morris dancers appeared out of no where and I got the fright of the century! This main thumbnail is a stunning captre and full of life and culture...
