Getting near the end of this wee series people (bet yer glad). This is the arse end of Ben Macdui the second highest hill in Scotland
I have enjoyed this series Rod, for me all have been fantastic...John
I love this. The best yet, for me, really takes me there. Technically spot-on, no bloody great footprints, great sky...... has it all. And the added bonus of your 'arse end' in the description, which reveals to us the poetry in your soul.

Cheers Alan , thought the sky might have been in for some flak lol. The UA is fantastic min
Another excellent landscape Rod, good choice of mono, gives a real feel of the place, superb dramatic sky. A*.
Hi Rod, the stark black and white o the mountain and the snaw really maks it stand oot against the sky. B+W has turned whit was probably a nice day into richt dark moody scene wi the menacin mountain.
Grand shot Erik
Another excellent winter scene.
I'm not glad to see the end of the series.
I thoroughly enjoy this series Rod !! We are living near sea level so we seldom see snow here - only the top of the mountains gets a dusting but we do get the cold that goes with it This a lovely image you have here!
Super Rod, great mono image, well captured
A super image with the sky that adds atmosphere and dramatic feeling to it, Rod.
Superb mono picture Rod, and the dramatic sky adds to the image. Really we enjoyed our trip to Scotland and it helped the lovely weather as well.
And what a picturesque arse end it is! Beautiful mono image with lots of atmosphere and drama.
A true Scot's romantic's view of the Cairngorms, with a genteel considered description of a superb landscape..............great tones, wonderful sky and contrast. well done, Rod.
the scots are really poets, but dinnae know it, the erse end bit I have heard so often wid ye look at the errrse on that, praise, indeed, I rest ma case and tae be honest the wee fotie is nae bad either
good one Rod and has been an enjoyable wee series fer sure
On a fantastic run at the moment Rod,sham it is coming to the last few,I have enjoy the series, arse and all!
I've always wondered why folk would choose to climb inhospitable, cold mountains. Photos like this series would be a good reason I suppose.
Because its there mentality Ivor . I use them as a mental retreat more than anything .
Esto parece el fin del mundo..Excelente.
I will come back to your PF everytime for the pictures of mountains you have here. I can't get enough of them.
Nice bit of drama there..perfect for mono Rod
No I like these images, good one
