Oh wow!! You are lucky - well done for spotting it!! You've caught the little mouse brilliantly, your point of focus is just a fraction out (I bet grandad is jealous!). Grin

What Ellie has failed to tell you all is.......This was very much a grab shot and it was moreorless right under her feet at the time and she really had the wrong lens on, too long! At the time I was several yards away talking to her twin sister so I didn't notice it....She saw, framed and captured all by herself the lucky so and so......All things considered it really couldn't have come out much better than it did......

Oh I'm so proud, and as a first time out with this new camera, she did remarkably well.......

Ade/Grand Dad x

Well I think this is an amazing capture, especially a grab shot! In these circumstances the "Panic" to get the shot before the animal runs off gets the better of you resulting in focussed grass and blurred creature. You have got it the right way round...... Well done. And the mouse is so cuteSmile

Diane is right and I am impressed, it won't be long before you are better than Grandad.

Diane has said it all really Ellie - very well done you!!! Just occasionally listen to grandad so that he thinks he's helping but then do what you want the rest of the time!! Don't ignore him too much though because he'll be the one with the money..... Grin Lets hope you post many more! Lou

For a grab shot it has come out pretty well, Ellie: well spotted in the first place.
Keep 'snapping' away and enjoying it.
Ronnie.

What do you mean 'it's not very good' Ellie, I think it is a brilliant shot and would have loved to take this myself. To be able to take this with no help is very clever. No wonder your grand dad in very proud. Hope to see more of your great shots. Moira
