Good afternoon folks,
One from a recent trip up to the hide.
This is the female of the main pair of Robins that own the hide site.
I choose this shot as it shows the distinct lack of the blue/grey edging
to the red breast. At this time of the year it is less prominent, but in bright
frosty conditions such as when this image was taken on male birds it is clearly visible.
Thanks for looking and a big thank you to everybody who commented/voted on
my uploads this week.

A well photographed bird that I find to be one of the easiest to photograph Colin, they can get very tame and eat from your hand, never the less a Robin portrait won our club competition last night, they are so photogenic. Excellent pose perch and background.
Regards
Trev.
