A good lead-in to the large solitary tree
Very muddy !! Paul, another very good POV.
So many gate places now look like this but you have caught the beauty in this sorry scene.
A remarkable and evocative image.
I think there is another image in this scene-- tho I suspect yoou arae reading it as a commentary on your weather---
a square-ish crop of the bottom of the image highlights the lines---tractor tracks--- the blue and brown compliment well!
A lovely textured foreground leading us to that lone tree.
It is quite amazing just how photographers can visualise a scene when others would walk past and not notice. I like this a lot, very well done, Bill.
You've caught it just right - I was out last fall, when we actually had some rain, trudging in mud - my boots all caked up with it. And cold, miserably cold. This speaks of all this.
Where there's muck there's money they say..................I just find the muck.........
