I was intrigued that this young girl with her fashionable trainers and skinny jeans would want a plastic shoulder bag with London plastered all over it in gold. She must be from out-of-town. Wink

Nicely composed Chris - I was here last evening! I agree, no self-respecting Londoner would be seen dead carrying a bag with "London" on it!! SmileSmile

An overseas tourist, I'll bet.
Intriguing shot, I'm trying and failing to see a connection between the flags. (Our town has hung up Commonwealth flags for the Jubilee all along the high street; some of the traders are quite perplexed as they have no idea what country's flag they are flying...)

Reminiscent of all the millions of English students whose tee-shirts proclaim their affiliation to Harvard!
Well-seen juxtaposition, nicely ironic.

No doubt, you can always pick out the tourists from the crowd! My husband says I always look like a tourist carrying a camera around!! Nice one, Patti Smile

It always surprises me Chris with all the visitors here during the Festival,
many think they are the height of fashion wearing a kilt !!
Good colourful shot.

Well observed Chris and I think London must be good for photographers at the moment.

Well I won't be going anywhere near the centre of London this weekend, or over the olympics weeks. Horrendously crowded and terrible public transport as it is, and I hate crowds.

And I wouldn't be seen carrying a bag that said Wakefield on it, either! A great colourful capture, Chris Wink

I think the colours in the trainers can all be seen in the flags. Well spotted.

A tourist with skinny jeans and fashionable trainers.

And hey, she's just following her trainers' adage: JUST DO IT.

A very colourful street shot Chris, I guess the girl with the bag must be a tourist. I had to smile at Gary's comment, I bet his wife Sonia does not go around with a bag saying Merthyr Tydfil on it! If she does it must be a result of being driven to madness being married to him for so long!WinkGrin
