Just a few metres further along the riverside and past the War Memorial in Bourton on the Water is the Cotswold Motoring Museum, which houses vintage car collections, classic cars and motorcycles and other memorabilia. Unfortunately, it was closed for the winter until the 15th February - being there on the 13th, we were two days too early! Sad There was also some building work being carried out, with lots of clutter outside the Museum, but managed a couple of shots avoiding most of the clutter of this wonderful old pump standing close to the river, which here was much narrower and fast flowing.

Single Raw images processed in Adobe Camera Raw 7, tweaked in Photomatix Pro 4 and Photoshop Elements 11.

Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.

Great processing. Makes for such good detail and when there's so much to see it works.

I can't see this as a petrol or oil pump, Trev, it looks so spruce and clean. Extra virgin olive oil perhaps?
Another interesting and well-chosen subject. V1 for me.

Bill

V2 - would be better without the van, but lovely composition, it's the one that takes me there.
