I'm always taking pictures of other peoples' flowers, but here is one of my own. All but one of my clematis flowered this year, and one even flowered twice.
V1 has card placed behind it.
V2 is against the garden fence.
V3 is a closeup of the centre.
Pamela.

Glorious colour and exceptional detail, Pamela.
We also had a fine crop of clematis this year, but unhappily the gales got to them before I could stir myself with the camera.

The card provides a nice textured bg in V1 Pamela - but I think you know that I would go for V3 - it's a super close-up.

Terrific colour and detail. We have flowers in our garden, but do not know what type.(that is the wifes department,I just dig the holes for planting them !!) And like Bill, they suffer from wind damage !!

I didn't want to put the closeup as V1 because I have done that before in my portfolio, but I am so glad you like it.
CAROL: I think it is "The President", looks like it, having now googled for it. I didn't know before that, so thanks for the ID.

V1 is my fav. The inclusion ov the stem and leaves-- and exclusion of the rest combined with the texture has made a very sweet image!

Well done!
