...down on the right the dark stone cottage with a view that was wonderful, and changed each morning. I could see the mountains across the loch from my cosy bed.

Another wonderful landscape image! You chuff these out one after the other, and they're always eye candy!

Lovely!

Cheers

Phil

What a superb spot in which to spend a few days, Dougie: it must have been a wrench in many ways to leave and head south again to the noise and bustle of the big city.
I could happily while away the hours and weeks up there.
Ronnie.

What a fantastic view. Don't think I would be able to stay in bed - would have to be out looking at this and probably walking along the shore. Superb reflections too. Moira

The reflections merge into the wet shingle of the beach.

What a fabulous place, Dougie: both close enough to 'civilisation' and far enough away from it.
Superb composition, lovely gentle tones.

Bill

What an idyllic spot Dougie - it looks like paradise to me! Those reflections are super and you have a lovely sky there too.

I really Like that curving lead in along the shoreline to the 'hot spot' of light on the mountain slope Dougie.
