This blue Tit flits in and out of my garden and I never can get him there long enough to get a good sharp shot.
This is the best so far but me and him aren't finished yet!!!

Beautiful details and a lovely pose! Well caught! (And here's to many more!)
This shot has been presented really well. As for the image itself its fair, but then birds are fast movers and not easy to capture, for ever 100 frames I take, 5% are good, 5% fair and 90% utter crap! The way to go is;
Tripod
Cable release
On a DSLR stop down to around f8 (not sure on the Sony)
Shoot in raw
And you need bags of patience.
If you crop the image tightly, try resizing using the 110% technigue before you do.

Yep: Uncle Frank had some in his tree, he said watch carefully, they flew in then flew out so quickly no chance. Oh well done in your capture and ongoing efforts
