Very beautiful framing here Ronnie, Glasgow has come a long way, I remember the flats with the top floors in the smoke, now some great photography opportunities.
Regards
Trev.
Glasgow never looked so good, Ronnie. A beautiful spot to rest in the shade of that tree on a summer's day and enjoy the vista.
Perfectly framed by the man behind the camera![]()

A lovely expansive view, Ronnie but the beauty is in the frame itself, excellent shapes and textures in the stone wall and tree, both bathed in a gorgeous low light.

What I like the most about this image Ronnie, is that on the surface it looks just like any other run of the mill 'snapshot', however when one begins to explore further one can see that it has been composed quite carefully, and captured from a great point of view. The layered colours of the meadows is something quite beautiful, as is the depth of detail, and the natural framing. A very pleasing and comforting image indeed.
Regards Nathan
a beautifully framed view... I seem to recall you did a similar thing last year in summer that I liked as much.
fine shot over the moor looking true north i would have thought, acroos the Moor then the Gleniffer Braes out to the volcanic plug of Dumgoyne hill i assume the 5 high rise buildings must be Paisley. the campsie one the left and Milton of campsie on right to the east, now somewhere in the middle to slightly right should be you let me see yes there is a wee dark spot got ya....kidding aside Ronnie nice capture good use of the wee dry stain wa' and yon big tree. Nae bad at a' laddie, all caught in good light

Quote: Who'd have thought Glasgow could look so picturesque?

I'm not even Scottish but I must defend Glasgow;
if you don't think Glasgow is picturesque, it's time to take a trip up here!!!!!![]()
There is wonderful architecture and lots of great parks
and as seen here in Ronnie's image plenty green belt areas
to enjoy and admire the city beyond.
Lovely framing here Ronnie.

The image certainly does paint a different picture to what we expect Glasgow, and it's surroundings, to look like, Ronnie
A wonderful composition and capture ![]()

This is an excellent landscape shot Ronnie. superb detail and colour, large was well worth the time. I have only been to Glasgow once, that was in the early eighties when I went to an exhibition hall by the riverside. If I can persuade my wife I would like to see BOTH main cities of Scotland.

Very well framed Ronnie, good frame filler, lots of good detail good lead in good eye catching image.
John
Well composed with a great diagonal and the wall makes a good lead in to the tree but it is also well placed on the thirds, excellent work - nearly forgot that beautiful sky![]()
wonderful late evening colours! I like the composition!
A wonderful rural landscape with a splendid view of Glasgow in the distance
A lovely rural scene, Ronnie! Wonderful colours and nice composition.
Cheers
Phil
