Great use of the added figure to focus the eye, though even without it I feel there is enough detail in the shadow, light and texture of the stonework, to draw us to that part of the image ![]()

A well balanced image with lovely warm light on the stonework, Neil. The figure worries me a little in that her size looks a bit out of proportion with her position on the path and the shadow on her is opposite to that on the walls.

Dave thanks ,i messed with that light so much it was ridiculous , the shrub at the front has light coming bottom left to upper right but the big arches give it the other way,re the perspective i dont know,but thanks for looking in detail and the honest opinion its what i need, i will try again and see how it works.![]()

Love the addition of the figure. Good luck with the CPAGB
Though I've been in Oban quite a few times, I never made it up to McCaig's Folly Neil, so thanks for showing me what's up there, certainly well worth a visit judging by your fine shot, of course your manipulation is a fine bit of icing on the cake, well done and good luck in getting the CPAGB qualification (whatever that is
)
Rgds., Jim
would think you could spin a medieval story for your well composed artwork!
You are too busy, Neil. She is wondering where you are, and what happened to the take-away you said you would buy on the way home.![]()
Quality work as usual.
