Natasha is a very talented artist living in the Languedoc-Roussillon Region in the south of France the shoot took most of the afternoon and i had planned roughly beforehand the look i was going for.
To go towards a series i am still producing Rouge et Noir Using photoshop CS4 and various techniques, still took a number of hours to produce due to the foliage detail, i think the effort worth it in the result.

Image shot with Canon Eos 7D

There is an old addage that still aplies in photography the more pre shoot thought that goes into the shoot the better results you will achive from what the image you see in your minds eye.

Excellent shot, & very nice idea with the colour-pop. Works well for me.

It looks like you have a feather along the bottom of her dress that's faded that lovely deep red. Also, though I'm not sure at this size, it looks like the B&W has crept in along the underneath of her right arm, the one against the tree.

Beautifully shot though, with lots of fine detail in the bark of the tree.
