The following abstracts are the original ones and then one I have coloured.

The Abstracts are of frozen ice on puddles.
All where found while out walking my Dog this AM .
Last night there was a very heavy frost which left some great abstracts patterns in frozen puddles of muddy water.

The original photographs have had nothing do to them. they are as captured in Macro or Super macro on my camera.

I have also added a coloured version. by adding a splash of colour using the gradient tool in photoshop elements 10. It shows up the different textures in the ice. the only enhancement with the colourful images are colour and cropping where needed. all textures are naturally there. I just added colour to make them show up better.

Thank you for your votes and comments yesterday.

I hope you like my simple but effective natural abstract showing nature at it's most wonderful and creative point of view.

A fine set of images lots of shapes and colours Zoe, I tend to like the non Coloured or the more subtle coloring's as apposed to strong colours, but that is just a personal taste, there are lots of nice delicate lines in the ice, -7c. last night here so a good time for this stuff but snow tonight and weekend, well done get the camera's out lol. regards Leon.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin
