the natural history museum in London

this shot took a long time to get how i wanted it, including 3 shoots in total. i wanted the light to be perfect, so a very sunny day or a very dull day just wouldn't do.

there was also the problem- although using long exposures- of people sitting on the stairs in the middle of shooting standing in one place for too long and all kinds of annoying things!

symmetry is key to this shot, so the tripod had to be precise

but, i got there in the end, and achieved what i envisioned at the start,

Not easy to get a shot from this location so well done with the good details and symmetry.
For me the blown high lights on the lhs draw the eye and prehaps a couple of more exposures at different speeds could have controlled these area better.
Good one
regards Richard

I don't see the blown highlights....this is an inspired shot. I love the rays of light coming through the windows. Well done.
