Many thanks to Brian for the UA and to all of you who commented on my grab shot of the hoverfly. It was the second time ever I just uploaded without any alterations at all, no crop, nothing.
I found some more critters today but that is for later Smile

A very eye catching image Annette.
I like both versions - the trunk and berries make a great image
and the autumn woodland scene including the first image makes a wonderful shot.

Lovely contrast of the res on white, Annette. Is this totally natural?

Both work so well though ahs to be V1 for me as the berries show up so beautifully against the silver tones of the tree bark.

V 1 is an excellent close-up whilst V 2 shows the shot in context: very nice pair of images, Annette.

Annette, nicely seen. The red stands off so nicely against the pale bark. It's almost as if you did some selective coloring.
