At the risk of flogging a dead horse, here's the final image of these rose hips (promise!). This is a different image from the previous one and I've given it a closer crop - fairly obvious to those of you paying any attention.
I imagine those small flecks in the background are tiny drops of dew.
I'm so pleased these have gone down so well and big big thanks to Leon, Lynne and Andy for their precious UAs for Nature's Jewels uploaded yesterday.
As usual - thank you for looking and for your time!

Like this one much better Ann, you can see the droplets very clearly, excellent series.

Well I've looked and looked again, even in the water drops I've looked but no sign of a dead horse, where is it?
9 awards and still counting, well hush my mouth and hope to die lady you are the bee's knees.
I like the extra detail in this one, but I dislike the background brown it does nothing for any of these images, for me at least.

oh what a tangled web we weave when at first we do deceive...... came to mind with this version
Beautiful lighting, Ann, and I like the composition. Last one? I bet you filled a memory card with shots from here ![]()

Fabulous - the beads of light, the reflections.
Can I suggest that there's another, different image to be had from this, by taking a portrait format crop from the left side - just the single rosehip and its reflection below? It's the better of the two reflections, and I'm pretty sure the quality of the image would stand such a severe crop.

I've really enjoyed this series Ann, such a pleasure to view.

I've not been paying attention Ann, so this image is especially good to see! I love the reversed image in the lens-drop on the left.

A wonderful piece of macrowork Ann, you've really excelled yourself here. The background colour looks ok to me as it isn't too garish and out of place.
My favourite because of the wonderful pattern of threads and droplets near the foreground hip ![]()
