A bit of digital jiggery-pokery today! Played around with a not very exciting shot of the Grand Canal taken from Ponte di Rialto. The original can be seen in V2.
Techie stuff – see Exif (original image)
Single Raw image processed in Adobe Camera Raw, tweaked in Photomatix Pro, fiddled with in Elements 6.
Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.

This really is fun - even though I have never had much success with jigsaws! A thoughtful piece of work.
Regards
Bill
How can you call it "not very exciting", Trev? I think it's splendid and shows so much activity on the water, as well as being nicely composed. The puzzle is a brilliant idea, and I know exactly where the pieces fit
.
I thought the same as Pamela, re being exciting..and I was there too...remember! ![]()
it was changing all the time and you have captured one of the more exciting of the shots too
but will say that this is a novel idea Trev and done so well
am 'green' with envy too
Lillian
I like the original, a very well processed 'street' scene, and v1 is a very effective and creative version. Great work.
Dave
V1 is such fun, I particularly like the missing pieces. Very well done.
Moira
Pamela has put it perfectly
I felt rather smug that I could see where that piece fitted ... how sad can I be?
Back to childhood again .. lovely
Thankyou
If V 2 had been mine, Trev, I'd have been quite delighted with the result........can't agree with your description of it as a not very interesting shot. Full of character, detail and interest, especially for me as I have never been there.
But what you have achieved in V 1 is spectacular and a very fine and creative bit of work, and very original too.
Very well done, my friend.
Ronnie.

I have to agree with Ronnie and the jigsaw is a superb idea to, full credit to you Trev
Like many others I think the original is brilliant. Beautiful, busy, well composed - and an ideal image for a puzzle. ![]()

I was puzzled for a while thinking you’d gone to pieces Trev. ![]()
Wonderful idea for your super V2 shot.

There's nowt wrong with the original, Trev, although the V1 is a brilliant piece of ps work...I found myself counting to see if the number of spaces matched the number of pieces yet to be placed! I half expected there to be one piece missing![]()
Malc
V2 is stunning its own right Trev, however I LOVE what you have done in V1!
