This image was taken 10 minutes before my last upload from a slightly different position. In this image, the side lighting from the sun (going down to my right) is more noticeable on the cliff face.
Many thanks to those who voted and commented on the previous image - much appreciated.

Some lovely colour on the cliffs from the sinking sun, Cliff

Lovely light captured just where you want it, nice work

A wonderful cloud and excellent light on the cliffs!
You really have to want to see this sight to travel across Skye to get here, it goes on for what seems a long time, but when you eventually reach the end of the single track road and get out the car, you understand why you really wanted to be here.
Looks beautifully calm here on your visit, lovely light hitting the cliffs as the sun dips below the Western Isles out there to the right.
My first visit here was quite a few years ago and the place was busy with tourists, so must have been summer, any way I encountered a couple from France on the way to live in the lighthouse for their holidays, the husband was carrying a bag on his back and pulling a trolley case, his wife some distance back was also pulling a trolley case and had a face as dark as a thunder sky. I'm guessing the husband never told his wife A: the distance from the car park, or B: you had to carry your own bags. The romance of the setting was lost on her, I hope only for a little while...we'll never know.
