Many thanks for all your comments on my last upload very much appreciated.

Back to Skye for this one and what look like being a promising sunset disappeared behind a wall of cloud. Perhaps next time Wink

Thanks for looking

Nice natural lead in and colour Richard, I like these rugged shots. Must have something to do with where we live.

A very original composition from a careful chosen viewpoint, allowing the eye to traverse along the cliff face to the lighthouse.

Excellent pov Richard. Lovely cliff texture and the line of cliffs takes you down to the light house. The composition does look a bit 'left-hand heavy' to me, though. The image seemed better balanced with a bit taken off the right, or even a crop from the middle section, converting the image into portrait format and emphasising the height of the cliffs.

Dave could be right but hindsight is a wonderful thingWink I think I have to agree with him Smile but it does put the lighthouse into perspective sizewise

Hard to go wrong in any weather with this beautiful scenery.
As to it looking off balance....I disagree. You have given space for the cliff to jut into the sea creating a very nice composition.

It was pouring when I stood there but I was lucky that we had a break in the clouds. This is well taken Richard. I think a square crop would also work well, losing some of the left and more of the right.

Do not often get the weather we want in this beautiful place, like the moodiness of the conditions Richard.

Beautiful shot Richard; with the sunset it would have been different, but not necessarily better.
