Many thanks for all your comments on my Broken Down Angel. Still 'up Norf' for this image - a little known waterfall near Goathland (Heartbeat Country)
called Nelly Ayre Foss on West Beck. A stiff walk through thigh-high bracken and a scramble down the bank, I'm not surprised this one is not that well
frequented - we had it all to ourselves! Not a lot of water flowing in the beck at the moment so the waterfall lacks that power and impact but given a long
exposure with the 10 stopper and the sunlight through the trees it becomes a somewhat idyllic spot.
Iso 100, f11, 131 secs @24mm. Tripod, remote and Hitech 10 stop ND filter. A bit of pulling and pushing in CS5 as well.
(sorry, no idea after whom this waterfall was named)
