The clematis 'Nelly Moser' one of the larger of the clematis and one of my favourites. I struggle to get a 'different' but good shot of this variety, usually ending up ditching them. This one is against the wall of the house so a natural backdrop and these two were trailing with the sun catching the side.

Thank you for all your comments and votes on my butterfly and to Alan_Baseley for his UA, very much appreciated.

Still catching up at home, one thing the children did leave behind was their colds, bless!! Nick has completed the contract on time for the school to do their grand opening of the computer suite today, so he now has some well earned spare time. I am back to doing normal child minding for the twins, with the school run today. Oh the joys of being a grandmotherGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Best wishes
Carole

A lovely image Granny Smile and one of my fav's too. Only trouble is, if they're exposed to Sunlight for too long, they tend to lose their colours quite a lot. My guess is, they wont be losing ANY colour this Year.

How thoughtful of them to trail down like this allowing a different 'take' and approach for you, Carole.
They are so beautiful, just begging for a 'snap' and you have obliged so brilliantly.
Detail, colours and presentation the tops.
Ronnie.

I really do like the pov in this. There's also lovely light and great colours. I reckon there's lots to be said for being a Grandmother and living too far away to babysitWink

Nelly's one of my favourites, too, Carole, but had to leave mine behind at my previous homeSad. This image is a beauty, and I love the sideways take.
