New beginnings for 2013
A really nice shot Lee. Ticks a few boxes for me.

Wonderfully tactile. And a creative, thoughtful take on the season.
It would be interesting to see this with a smaller seedling, for greater contrast with the size of the hands, but this works very well as it stands.

i have been holding off voting on this one..............i keep looking at it and enjoy it more and more..................this is truly one of the best mono images on this whole site, and most certainly deserves more recognition than it has received already........................simply superb, and i wish it was mine!!
That's pretty heady praise, not so sure it's deserved but much appreciated!
Den, dis think about it actually but I'm not a massive fan of it usually, and I think for some reason it often only works with red. Bit too dark for green to work on this i think
well done, we had a poster from Caritas in our school as kids, to help the third world, it was just like it but not to that photographic standard at all.
If I can remember it after more than 40 years it must have been good.
