Manila, Philippines.
Following The Peoples Power Revolution in The Philippines, new periodicals emerged, and a few resurrected. More than a decade's repression stimulated the old freewheeling journalism, where unsubstantiated rumors were reported as fact. I lived in Manila during the early part of martial law under Marcos, and noted guarded criticism of his administration. I felt his censorship resulted in a more responsible press.

Ah Kodachrome, sadly missed. An excellent piece of reportage here, very interesting.
