This is a favourite field near where I live which photographers love.
One year I saw it when the grass was cut and next day it was taken away so we have to grab our moment.
A version of this won Landscape Photographer of the year a few years ago for a Paisley Colour Camera club member.
My thanks to all for votes for Tufty.

All about the light here I reckon Kate.
A good bit here to bring out the green tones.
A fine shot.

Lovely composition Kate, and amazing light. It has the look of a late day after a thunderstorm.

everything enchanting.. and sunlight against the background of dark clouds always goes great with me for some unexplicable reason.. you have presented the grass in such a gorgeous way and presented it so nicely that I wish I were a cow.. Smile a good feast for eyes and perhaps when tired i should like to see this again..

Lovely tones of green and some lovely trees with a sky looking as if it's going to rain .
They do need this crop of silage in as soon as possible Kate, unless they want to make some hay and then it would be down and turned over a few times and then it would be made in to bales ,and that would give you a brilliant image as well.

Good balance between land and sky and with the yellows of the field and the greys of the sky contrasting well, Kate.
Of course, very strong lead in lines.
I bet you could return there time after time, always coming home with a different "take" as it were.

I can see why this location appeals so much to photographers, Kate!
And to be there when the sun is at its best in the foreground contrasting against that threatening sky - perfect!
You positioned yourself in just the right place to draw the eye into the scene - a superb and very thoughtfully taken picture.

that sky sets this off so very well in conjunction to the foreground light and parallel lines and the unanswered question in your narrative has me a tad worried Blush

The ominous clouds coupled with the gorgeous light, give it bags of atmosphere, Kate. Very well captured. I can see why it is a favourite with local photographers.
