.... the other side of the bridge.
The previous Night and Day showed Chelsea Bridge from the upstream. This is the view from the other side.
v1...... Iso 100, f16, 0.5sec, @16mm
v2..... Iso 200, f16, 1/200s, @18mm
Both with tripod and remote. No filters.
A early evening light and colours make this work for me Dave.
Excellent photography Dave !!
I haven't visited London in such a long time, it is the sheer volume of people that puts me off, but here you demonstrate just what I am missing an excellently executed shot!!
Got to admit Dave V1 outstanding with the evening light excellent shot.
Wonderfully captured Dave,
and certainly going for the view of V1 and the light captured
Thought most were unable to use tripods in London now?
2 good shots. V1 has the drama of the lights.
Has to be version 1 for me Dave - excellent!
V1 for me Dave, outstanding...John
Night is the real winner for me ~ well composed and technically perfect!
These are excellent Dave, really like V1,
Version 1 for me Dave though I do like v2 Great shots
soon as i saw the thumbnail knew this was yours, very nice work dave, love the curvature of the of the handrail with the splash of light, compostion is bang on the buck
you have made it look huge
two great images
Two Brilliant images ,My vote goes for them both
Night for me too - congratulations on the GEA Dave
A well considered composition as always, Dave, and captured at that time of day between day and night, keeping blue in the sky.
Love the contrasting curves as seen from this angle. The houses in the left background stand out more at night - I didn't notice them on first viewing V2!
Has to be the night shot for me.
I like the sweeping rail. And the night shot is far more glamorous.
Two brilliant shots Dave, excellent composition, for me it has to be V1 as my favorite
The sweep of the bridge and everything else work so well together
Two stunning images, Dave - such stunning quality!
Its stunning during the day but spectacular at night...2 great captures
Is it taken with a sigma 10/20mm ?
2 great images, like both, but the night image just takes it
Both top notch but V1 just has the edge Dave. Congratulations on the GEA.
Just love the night shot. Brilliantly captured. Ann.
Nice leading lines there Dave.
I love the evening shot too. Your timing of such shots are unparallel. The curves are just rhythmic.
A lovely composed image and has a loveliness both day and night.......Sandy
I know I am going against the tide of opinion but I actually prefer V1. Both superbly captured though Dave.
Two wonderful shots. V1 is my favorite in this set. Lovely.
The night shot for me Dave...so dramatic.
Images of immense quality but the night version is quite magical.
Amazing the difference the ISO had made - where these taken about the same time?
I do like V1 though with the rich moody blue and contrasting gold.
Super light Dave.
A beautiful blue hour shot Dave and I love seeing the daytime version -- makes for a great study.
Definitely night for me! But then, I am rather partial to night shots...
Two super shots, I am going for V1 as I know how difficult low light shots are
Fabulous due of images here Dave - liking the night time shot showing the contrasting curves under the lighting.
Stunning work lovely use of light
2 stunning images Dave, lighting is perfect.
Two superb shots, and I love the curving lines most.
Great composition, Dave.
Like V1 best.
both are very good Dave all that hanging around in the same spot till the light changed its a wonder ye were nae lifted lad
Whats left to say Dave.. perfection springs to mind....
While I like the day shot, the night shot really comes to life with the lights and the light reflection colouring the water.
This is what I would like to learn . BTW we are both not fussed so could come up with something nearer the time.
Two first class images V1 is my favourite xx
Your london shots should go on a tourist board book! They make us want to go out and walk the town!
This is another beautiful take. IB
Two brilliant images Dave but V1 superb..Lin
Lovely coppery tones in V1 which comes to life.. Like the curving lead in the f/g... v1 stands out for me..good to see both versions
Good image, like the contrast of color under bridge with the blues. Si
Great stuff Dave - I always love your night shots so it has to be v1 for me.
Very successful Dave !!!!!!
looks pretty with the lights on, both great shots, Dave. nice one.
Both brilliant in their own rights Dave, composition in both spot on.
Very nice Dave, like the 2 images. I very nice idea to show light and dark.......
Wonderful composition and beautiful lights Dave!
Like both, but V1 the most. Terrific composition.
Your "Park Bench" image has 90 votes ( which it richly deserves ) so it doesn't really need any more but I think it's one of the best black'n'whites I've seen all week. Fabulous. The light through the Willow, and that pigeon wandering about ....... wish I'd taken that...... I hate you
can't resit the night colours. These lines converge very nicely, too.
Well guess you are the knight of bridges now!
Both stunning, as always, but the night shot nails it.
All four images are superb Dave. I want to say I really can't choose, but maybe the night shots tip the balance if, for no other reason than there's less detail (because it's night) leaving more to the imagination.
V1 for me, lovely ballance of low light/night shot. Stunning as usual with your pics.
v1 is superb
I can't say much more than what has already been said! A wonderful image, especially v1
Two cracking images Dave, you get better every time.
Two brilliant captures Dave, each one has its own merit. For me it has to be V1.
outstanding evening light shot v1 for me
Two very well taken images, like them both, but the night one is just brilliant.
Another two good ones - the drama of the low light effects in v1 gets my vote. A
The light very strongly changes the view of the bridge... Good set, Dave!
Wonderfully contrasting shots. It makes me realise the the totally different atmosphere in a scene between night and day. one bright and cheery and other mysterious and full of intrigue. paul
A really good capture the only comment for me would be more pathway
and getting away from being central. Well done. WesternRed.
Nice. But it also looks good at night from the north end, slightly off to the east.
The night shot has by far the greater impact and makes the place come alive
