Appologies to those to commented on the first version, but I could see it could be improved.
This is ŝingvellir at night with a red aurora burning behind the Oxarafoss waterfall. behind me, it was burning green.
fantastic image well caught makes you want to be there
love this mate, good work.
Great effort to get out and get shots like this, looks like a magical place, well done!
Well captured. Aurora shots always look good, though this red/orange reminds of the awful light pollution from cities (not that you'd get that on this iamge )
I was about 40km from Reykjavik so no light pollution here!
My two regrets:
1) I should have gone for a really long exposure to get better details in the rocks - that would have been about 20min. (f=8.)
2) If I was daring enough to climb the icy rocks behind me in the dark, I could have captured a better aurora shape.
Wow, what a place this must be. Great capture, fantastic colour.
Magnificent. That little touch of red in the foreground balances it up a treat.
Love colours and details well captured.
Brrrr Great shot
Absolutely superbshot. Love the colours and the mood.
A stunning alien lanscape
