I have been determined to get this shot!
Although the aurora forecast was low, the sky was very clear so I decided to venture out for some night shots. To my surprise the northern lights appeared... so I made the most of my situation.
This is a HDR blended with a short exposure to get rid of the star trails. The longest exposure was 25min.
This is something I am determined to see for real one day, lovey capture.
another fantastic shot from you........
Aurora Borealis....love them.......
A strange and fascinating looking landscape Tony.
Surreal! Great shot. Where was it taken?
Great image - well captured.
Stunning colours & composition.
Drawn to this by the caption, wondering if 'the Thing' was Thingvellir (which I visited many many years ago) - and it was! A great capture
Wow lovely image. Superb colours.
