Excellent image. The use of a torch pointing into the nights sky although simple is very effective.

Bravo for fighting with the elements and producing a superb pictures simultaneously!
I am sure you must had taken more pictures...
I would be intrigued to move the torch a bit more far away from the car (its front side) turn the light against it, shooting it from the same point you are now...
