Another from my recent trip to the Isle of Harris, tried out the Lee 10 stop on this, was reasonable pleased with the results.
Thanks for looking and comments feedback always welcome.
No idea what the Lee10 stop is all about But I do know I like this piccy
The only thing that detracts [ever so slightly] is that plank of wood? on the left, other than that - just what the BIG stopper was invented for. Nice one.
Had not spotted that Paul - thanks for the input.
Good detail amid the mist
Mythical, epic landscape.
This is brilliant! I think I need to invest in filters but funds won't permit at present. Phil
Agree with Paul the plank does distract but other than that I really like this. Good rich colours and detail on the rocks and the water isn't over done, good use of the 10 stop.
afterthought, I do , wonder if I would have spotted the plank if Paul hadn't mentioned it
Super place and a super take on it.
Good job! I like the colour and details in the rocks, well taken!
An impressive and atmospheric Landscape Richard.
Really great image.
Superb image, well done.
Thanks for all your comments everyone very much appreciated.
fantastic detail wonderful colours and light a stunning capture
A beautifully captured scene Richard, like the tones as well that you have captured on the rocks
The Big stopper working well on this shot Richard. Composition is A1 and the detail very crisp, contrasting against the softness of the water and the clouds.
Works a treat Richard
Good use of that filter Richard.
PS. Not much gets past Paul does it
Very nice Richard
Thanks for all your comments everyone - much apprecaited.
Darren I had not seen it until Paul pointed it out.
Wonderful image Richard
Gorgeous image Richard. Really fabulous........Sandy
Well ordered and simplified composition out of what looks like it could be a tricky place to compose. I would also like to see this composition on a moody evening with a broodier sky.
Thanks Stace Sandy and Adam.
Adam certainly agree about getting a moodier sky.
What wonderful light and colors with some fantastic detail Richard.
What a super image Richard. Delightful.
Wondeerful image so well captured the stopper working so well and adding to the composition Colin
Very beautiful, Richard, love that milky water, and really must be viewed large to appreciate the tones and textures in those rocks.

Come on do a black and white on this Rich
Very atmospheric! Love the rocks and pebbles in this.
Great work Richard I have something from here but it doesn't look like this. My 10 stopper just arrived a few days ago after I'd come back from Harris.
Effective use of your filter Richard, I think I want one
Whatever the Lee 10 stop is it makes for a great effect and super shot, really good. Love the misty water.
works very well Rich
Very good shot Richard.
