.. just coasting, it's all down hill from Stogumber to Williton so they 'come off' fairly early for the curves and bridges through here, (some earlier than others so you never know 'til they get there Sad)
I just like the curve, the trees and the sheep Smile

Lovely image even without the head of steam, and nicely presented,
Mark.

I like the compositional elements of this pic - it could a postcard-type shot! Smile

Slight colour cast maybe? I've uploaded a mod which addresses this and has a few other tweaks.

I like the way ones eyes can move thru this image following a variety of lines and curves, very pleasing!

Oh that's a cracking shot Bev..love it's clarity, the track stands out so well, and the country well, aren't we so lucky to live around here. Is that sheep taking a ride on the roof of the fourth carriage !!!

Thank you folks, thought it would sink like a lead balloon, a lovely surprise to see your votes and kind wordsSmile Much appreciated.

Thank you CB for the mod! The sharpening really lifted it, I never know when I've done enough until someone shows me it can be taken that little bit further without going over the top. It certainly needed some oomph put into it but I didn't know how, however, (please don't be offended) for me the green is just a touch too much. (Now ... if I could tone that down just a fraction .. without affecting the reat of it ... mm .. perfect?) I love it all the same and it really does put in the wow that was missing. Smile

Thanks again all

Looks like it wasn't worth the effort of the mod. Sorry , but I tried.
Probably shouldn't play with pictures til I get some eyes that work.

Lol 'ern, of course it was worth the effort! Thank you, it did put the emphasis on the train, gave it a bit more 'oomph' which is more than I could doSmile
