Hi all,
Hope you're having a good weekend.
Here's a bit of my family history, made into an 'artwork'.
My Grandfather's Indenture Paper. It dates to 1889 and
is a contract to train for 5 yrs as an apprentice Wheelwright.
I love the rules he had to abide by under his Master, such as ..
'not entering into matrimony, not haunting taverns or playhouses,
and not playing cards or dice.' How miserable, imagine a hard day
at the hot forge and not being allowed to go to the local pub for
a pint ! lol.
Very grateful for all the nice C&C's on my fossil uploads.

I'm envious! I've been constructing the family tree for about 12 years now and would so love having something like this contract in my keeping! They took apprenticeships seriously back then. Makes a beautiful image.

I like the crop on this which adds mystery and the feeling you want to see the rest of the document. - gary
