What is he talking about?
All comments and criticisms are welcome.Maybe the top is too heavy again
this works for me wonderful light and detail a cracking capture nice one
Gorgeous! Love the slanting light and the misty background. Beautiful.
Beautiful backlighting Xwang, the shadows add depth to this great capture!
Beautiful image with lovely light !
(It was this big) ?
Great comp and lighting with an interesting story line.
Lovely image with nice lighting and wonderful shadows. Nice one Xwang.
Everything about the picture is delightful. The natural setting, the people going about their daily business, the light, the shadows, the arch of trees. The police officer is probably describing the depth of snow he had to dig through before he could make an arrest... you know what they're like!
This is so beautiful to look at - humour, movement, delicious light. The strong horizontal shadows at the bottom balance the heavy branches perfectly for me - love it.
Lovely side lighting makes this, & figures well placed. Like it.
good depth and light, great movement through the shot, very well photographed Jasmine,a cracker of a picture.
Super image, works for me. Sylvia
I like the compo, and I like the light. Though, what most caught my eye is the foreground figure of a very tall man, his height appearing to try to compete with the trees on either side. Not expressing it quite clearly, but hope the meaning comes through.
Lovely shot beautifully done. Works well as it is.
Fantastic image! WEll captured.
I like it - IMHO you could crop it in half to emphasise the path and the people - but its what YOU like - You have captured the light well and a good pov and comp with the path leading you through the picture
well captured image
This is one excellent image for the day, the composition is perfect and I like the expressions of different people caught in the image.
Thank you Neil for your lovely comment with great imagination, gives us an interesting story..
Thank you Anne, you made your point,I agree. If you could see his head 'gears', it would be more interesting. I'll try to be careful next time.
Thank you Ray. It was a snap, there was a bit empty space on the path. I tried not to use free corp, 4x6 didn't work, I was not sure about 6x4,so I simply cropped off the bottom part, leave the top as it was. Maybe I could go 5x5. Don't you think so?
Thank you all for your kind comments and help.
Wonderful lighting here Jasmine. very hard to control but you've done it. Congrats. paul
Beautiful light and a very well-timed shot.
The policeman's equivalent of the fisherman's "one that got away" tale.
"Honest, he was this tall!"
