sorry to disagree, but I think you have pushed the levers too much here. the gray areas "take over", smudging the dark.
this is what happens when you push fill light and/or recovery over the limit.
In contrary to EC, I believe you should have "reset" and started over with what seems like a very fine portrait of a gentleman![]()

Have to agree, I'm afraid. You can see it on the folds of his shirt. It's a shame as it's a very good composition of a nice-looking guy.
