This was a morning greeting for Mrs Madbilly & myself last time we were "oop North" visiting family. We stayed in a local countryside hotel. V2 is a cropped version putting the horizon roughly on the 3rd as per "photographic" rules

Thanks for the c&cs for yesterdays upload

Mad

V.1 for me, Bill, with the archway in the foreground. Well captured, looked like you were in for a good day. Carol

Stunning sunrise - the trouble is for me it looks like a sunrise over a garden centre - why should that matter and truth is it doesn't - when faced with such a beautiful sunrise. But I might have been tempted to go out and try and find a spot beyond the car park - but hell you were on holiday who wants to get up early then!!.

Firstly, thank you so much Bill for your user award. What a pleasant surprise at 5:30am this cold and windy morning. We are up in the mountains at the moment, in the Ramona hills. So thank you, thank you!
Your sunrise is beautiful and shows me you and Maggie get up early too. Like both versions Bill.........Sandy
