Just came back from Gaspe peninsula, were you can find a impressive colonie of gannet. Lately, climate change have been pretty hard on those birds where warming water make their principale source of food to dive deeper in the water to find a more appropriate habitat (cooler water). Now it is harder for the gannet to hunt for fish. Last year only 10% of the new born survive and this year doesn't look that good neither. Usually the surviving rate is 40% !!!
