As Keith announces the imminent arrival of a rare visitor (the sun), the Northscape paparazzi scramble to assemble their kit for those exclusive shots.

Now we know the secret of Dennis's uncanny mountain goat agility. He has guy ropes attached to his coat.

Interesting to observe these species in the wild. Often not seen by the lens. Look at the Kit they use, and all those tripods! Lovely candid shot that says so much. Click. Michael

I've only just realised how many blue coats were there this weekend....could do with those guy lines.

I was right on the light though.

LOL Sheila ... I think there was discussion about what you call a group of photographers - someone came up with a PHOG ... (I think it was Rob). Rather apt, in this sea of blue. And positively bristling with equipment.

I see what you mean about Dennis's guy ropes - if you threw a tarpaulin over him and gave him a kettle you could have a ready made EPZ tea tent snigger (sorry Dennis - lol 8-] )

Nice candid! I have a few up my sleevies I'm preparing to share, too ;-D

Yes, the sun came out, Duncan. As you show in your latest upload! Nice to meet you too.

I think you may be in the picture, but hidden by Keith's bulk!

Great shot of those fellows going mad over the rare view of the sun. Got back to some murky weather here in Spain and the experts have announced that we are going to have a very wet spring while the UK will have very dry weather. It will be good for a change to have some water.

Well captured candid shot. Captures the mayhem caused by that glint of sunlight! Good to see you again.
