Saw this damselfly in Kristiansand, Norway, but I can't identify it on any of the websites I have found. Anybody know what it is please?

Thanks for looking
Jason

A super capture, so sharp and beautiful. The background works so well with the colours of the fly and the plant.

A very fine Damselfly Jason - I thought an emerald was greener than this as suggested above?
Better than any I've seen this year!
A very fine image.
Are you ready for your club starting?

Can't be a Norwegian Blue - that's a parrot.

Wonderful colour, Jason. Had a look for it as well - found some more images but none named Sad

Here, we would identify this as one of the spread wings as it wings are shorter that its tail. The colors suggest it is not yet mature, which is why you have not found an ID

A gorgeous image!
