Quote: A beautiful boat, Diane, did you get a ride on her? Carol
Unfortunately not
The weather was a bit on the chilly side and think it was closed for rides due to lack of interest
Even if it was open I dont think have ventured out on the north sea in that temperature![]()

Diane
The hall in the background looks like the one where I saw David Bowie play back in '72
. Nicely captured Diane, and not a day for that 'trip around the bay'.
Dave
This one does not work for me Diane! First the cropped masts and a lot of the the boat cropped, a very busy in focus background and blown areas of sky, so only my opinion not a successful capture, others might dissagree.
Regards
Trev.

The hall you mention must be "The Spa" ............. Really? David Bowie in Bridlington? Bet it would be a tall order to get him there now![]()

Thanks for the comment Trev, I do agree the sky is a bit over exposed in parts, but the sky was very bright at the time, and couldnt set the aperture any lower without darkening the rest of the image, the histogram has no missing areas at all and is a lowish even dip.... not a peak but even and unbroken. And as for the masts been missing.......... I can only say that as the tide was low and the camera pov being downwards getting the tops of the masts was impossible unless I was in a hellicopter
There has been no crop to the image at all except what the tiny sraighten took away. I will add Trev though that without you nagging
I wouldn't have known how to reply to this because I didnt know about all this before I joined Epz........... Thankyou Trev![]()
