Many many thanks for the comments and clicks on the water vole - it was a pity someone wasnt taking a picture of me - getting down to get the shots - nearly went in the ditch.

Excellent capture Ray, as already mentioned the focus is a little on the soft side, but this doesn’t detract from the overall quality which is first class.

Ray on large it seems as the focus is on the back end of the bird rather than the eye - I'm sure your software will confirm point of focus, saying that these birds didn't hang about and it is a well timed capture, a bonus with food, good colour and pleasing b/g - Ina
